Equipment for the Ukrainian Saturday School in Heidelberg
The Ukrainian Saturday School in Heidelberg was founded in 2009 under the auspices of the German-Ukrainian Society Rhein-Neckar e.V. For more than 15 years, it has provided children with a place where language, culture, and identity are passed on and nurtured with care.
Today, 215 children study here – both Ukrainian and German. The school is officially verified by the Ministry of Education of Ukraine and offers classes in:
• Ukrainian language,
• literature,
• history,
• culture and traditions.
All teachers work on a voluntary basis.

Why we need support
To continue providing modern, interactive, and up-to-date education, the school urgently needs new technical equipment. Especially after the significant increase in the number of students since February 2022, digital learning methods have become indispensable.
Needed:
• 5 laptops for volunteer teachers,
• 20 tablets for students for interactive learning formats.
The equipment will enable:
• digital language exercises,
• access to modern educational platforms,
• collaborative project work,
• use of interactive learning materials,
• hybrid learning in cases of illness or remote formats.
⸻
